After years of experience in organising the most prestigious equestrian events worldwide, we bring this unique sport to the Tatras as well. Invited guests and the general public can look forward to this fast and stylish sport, as well as a rich accompanying programme and excellent refreshments. Horse Polo presents the players' skills and provides an intense view of the game.
Danube Polo Club since 2005
The founder and initiator of horse polo in Slovakia, Ladislav Agárdi, has been nurturing polo players, training horses, and organising polo tournaments in Slovakia for over 15 years. In 2012, he was also honoured with the Strong Friend of Argentina Polo award by the Argentine Embassy for helping develop polo in Slovakia. The club also co-organises the international Farrier's Arena Polo Cup tournament in Šamorín, where spectators could watch matches of 6 international teams already in the third year of the event.
