A new format of the traditional and popular Bear Days event takes place again at Hrebienok in the High Tatras on 27thand 28th July 2024. It will be different, new, theatrical, quiet and amusing this time. Families with children can look forward to entertaining theatre performances and stops where they can learn a lot of new things about nature, animals and life in the Tatras. Traditional interactive games, illusions and many other amusing stops will not be missing. The event complex will include bear climbing, a bear den, demonstrations of the mountain rescue service and a stop of mountain load bearers.

Great Forest Expedition
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with Bartolomej the Bear, the wise protector of the forest! Together, you can discover the secrets of nature, learn about animals and explore the beauties of the forest. Tasks at various stops will show you the importance of protecting nature and cooperating. Your parents, along with forest animals, will help you on this journey, so that you can enjoy great family time full of fun and learning.

Children can combine the adventure game with bear-themed face painting. After completing all the stops, they will receive beautiful and nice rewards at the end. Every child who brings a teddy bear will get a small gift from us ;) This year, the event complex will feature interactive and creative games from our partner galleries: Tricklandia, Poliankovo and Dobrá hračka again.

Where can I park and how do I get to Hrebienok?
On 27th and 28th July 2024, we recommend travelling to Starý Smokovec by public transport, either by Tatra tram or bus. Those who decide to come by car will have to park in private car parks in the town of Vysoké Tatry – Starý Smokovec. And from there, a comfortable funicular runs to Hrebienok. The best is to buy your cable car ticket online at www.gopass.travel in advance to avoid queuing and pay less.
