The boating pier will change to Venice in the Tatras
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Štrbské Pleso village, the boat pier will enjoy an original Italian atmosphere.
The peaceful surface of Štrbské pleso (tarn) is going to change to “Venice of the Tatras” on 23rd July 2022. The Venetian Night name has not been a random choice. Venetian Nights used to be organised by visitors and inhabitants of the Tatras already in previous decades and the relaxing early evening events included boating, music and good food. This will be the 7th time for Štrbské pleso to experience a real Venetian atmosphere.
Join the event full of romance and a varied programme on a unique summer evening. The evening atmosphere will be emphasised by Baroque costumes, attractive mirror sculptures and a great music programme with Richard Rikkon and Berco Balogh, Eva Máziková, Vincen Jaš, Gioia – Matej Vánik and singer Daniyel from Italy.
The Venetian Night in Štrbské Pleso will guarantee unforgettable moments and delicious specialities.
At the tarn, there will be traditional specialities of the Veneto region to taste including real gourmet jewels. Don’t miss professional tuna filleting at 16:00 combined with tasting on the terrace of the @Al Lago Italian restaurant of the Solisko hotel. Or try fresh oysters, grilled prawns, crab meat and original Italian pizza. Wine from the Veneto region will be the perfect match to everything.
The programme begins at 15:00 and lasts until 22:00. The event is for free and will take place at the boating pier on the bank of Štrbské pleso (behind the Kempinski hotel).
* Boating tickets will be available at the pier. The capacity is limited.
The whole event will be presented by Radoslav Kuric. 22 boats will be at disposal at the pier during the event.
