The BEAR DAYS are coming back to Hrebienok in the High Tatras (1,285 metres above sea level). The atypical bear festival with a new version that you could see back in 2019 continues and takes place on 30.7.2022 and 31.7.2022 (Saturday – Sunday) this year. This means 2 days of great bear fun and an amazing atmosphere in the unique environment of the High Tatras. The Bear Days in Hrebienok will be a bit different this year. A bit more quiet. As we want not only to educate about nature but also do something to protect and develop it, our Bear Days will be held in a special, more quiet regime ?, which will not reduce the quality that you have been used to for many years, though. Quite the opposite. There will be a lot of educational programmes, silent performances, various ecological attractions, games and competitions. The Bear Days festival in Hrebienok is different – educational, interactive and amusing. Learn something about the work of mountain rescuers, mountain porters and the forest pedagogy. What’s more, there will be modern, interactive and educational games to try.
This year’s Bear Days in Hrebienok are different, educative, interactive and mainly amusing. They will introduce the work of mountain rescuers, mountain load bearers, tell something about forest pedagogy. Various modern, interactive and educational games will be available too.

On Saturday 31.7.2021, a well-known Slovak singer, musician and song writer is going to perform on the stage. She was born in Považská Bystrica, was active in Radošinské naivné divadlo (theatre group) and today, she focuses only on music. In addition to concerts with her band, she writes songs for other artists and projects. Please meet SIMA MAGUŠINOVÁ, previously known as SIMA MARTAUSOVÁ.
On Sunday 1.7.2021, the event is going to be presented by Marián Čekovský, a unique artist popular for his songs, original humour and optimism. He was born in Humenné and is loved by fans of all age groups for his honesty, ever-present great mood and a typical nature. Marián Čekovský is going to perform with his band as well.
EVENT TICKETS
Considering the currently valid restrictions and regulations of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic, the Bear Days in Hrebienok can be visited by a maximum of 1,000 people per day. That’s why we have decided to sell tickets at symbolic prices and close the area where the event takes place on 31.7.2021 and 1.8.2021. The venue will be fenced in and accessible only for those who show their receipts to prove that they have bought tickets through any of the available purchase channels. We suggest buying event tickets with included funicular tickets at the best prices through gopass.sk. Event tickets with included funicular tickets can be purchased at 15€/adult person on www.gopass.sk in the “experiences” section. The price is the sum of the funicular ticket price (12€) and the event ticket price (3€).
NOTICE! Kids aged 0-6 years need event tickets as well. These tickets can be purchased at 1€ ONLY through the inviton platform on this website below.

THE EVENT VENUE WILL BE ACCESSIBLE ONLY FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO SHOW THEIR RECEIPTS TO PROVE THAT THEY HAVE BOUGHT THEIR EVENT TICKETS. THE RECEIPTS CAN BE IN A PRINTED FORM OR A DIGITAL FORM. THEY ARE SENT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF EVERY PURCHASER AFTER THE PURCHASE.
To enter the event venue, vaccination certificates or COVID-19 tests are not needed. The same applies to funicular transport.

*Senior tickets are available for passengers at the age of 60 and more or passengers with disability cards. To get reduced-rate tickets, every client must present their identity card and/or disability card.
*Junior tickets are available for passengers older than 12 years until two days before their 18th birthday and holders of ISIC, ITIC, EURO26, GO26 cards. To get reduced-rate tickets, every client must present their identity card (or insurance card if younger than 15 years) or the ISIC, ITIC, EURO26, GO26 card.
*Children 6-12y tickets are available for children older than 6 years until two days before their 12th birthday. To get reduced-rate tickets, every client must present an insurance card of the respective child or another document that proves the child´s age.
*Children 0-6y tickets are available for small children until two days before their 6th birthday.

Where will I park my car and how can I get to Hrebienok?
On 31.7. and 1.8.2021, we suggest using public transport, i.e. the Tatra electric railway or busses to come to Starý Smokovec. Those who decide to come by car will have to park at private and chargeable car parks in the town of Vysoké Tatry – Starý Smokovec. A comfortable funicular operates from Starý Smokovec to Hrebienok. Buy a special package with an event ticket and a funicular ticket included online on www.gopass.sk to skip queues and to have event access guaranteed. Due to pandemic restrictions, the event capacity is limited to 1,000 people. The venue in Hrebienok will be accessible only to individuals who present their receipts to prove they have bought tickets for the one or the other day.
